JG Tapers and Jointers is based in Luton and has been working sites across London and the home counties since 1998. Our day-to-day coverage runs across a 70-mile radius from our workshop. For larger commercial contracts, we travel further across the UK.
Below are our eight main markets. Each has a dedicated page with local detail, named projects, and answers to the common questions specific to that city. Beyond the eight, we cover plenty of other towns across the home counties through main contractor relationships and private referrals.

London
Hundreds of projects since 1998. Hotels near Heathrow, hospitals across South London, retail at both Westfields, office fit-outs in the City and West End. Our biggest market by some distance.

Birmingham
Major commercial market outside London. Bull Ring retail, NEC exhibition halls, Jewellery Quarter shop and office fit-outs, Solihull commercial work, Birmingham Airport redevelopments.

Milton Keynes
Working in MK most weeks. Central MK boulevard offices, MK Central Station developments, Stadium MK restaurants in Bletchley, Makita and surrounding distribution warehouses in Tongwell.

Northampton
M1 Junction 15 logistics hub. Brackmills Industrial Estate, Grosvenor Centre retail, Sixfields retail park, Weston Favell shopping, twelve-house residential developer programme in Wellingborough.

Luton
Our home patch since 1998. Capability Green Business Park, Butterfield Business Park on Hitchin Road, Luton Airport and Parkway commercial developments, residential renovations across the town.

Slough
M4 corridor and Heathrow-adjacent. Slough Trading Estate (Europe’s largest single-ownership business park), A4 corridor CAT B office fit-outs for global brands, hospitality work in Windsor and Maidenhead.

Hi-spec biotech and universities. Cambridge Science Park fit-outs for tech and life sciences firms, Anglia Ruskin University drywall finishing, riverside restaurant upgrades, Study Inn student accommodation.

Inside the M25, straight down the M1. Atria Watford (formerly the Harlequin) retail, regular work at Croxley Park Business Park, banking branch refits along the High Street, warehouse dividing walls.

Other Towns and Counties
Beyond the eight main city pages above, we cover plenty of other towns across the home counties on a regular basis. Most of this work comes through main contractor relationships, private referrals, and tenant fit-outs in the business parks that span multiple counties.
Hertfordshire
St Albans, Hatfield, Stevenage, Hemel Hempstead, Bushey, Rickmansworth, and the surrounding villages. Most of this work comes through our Watford and Luton coverage.
Bedfordshire
Bedford, Dunstable, Houghton Regis, Letchworth, Harpenden, and the surrounding villages. Our home patch extends well beyond Luton itself across the county.
Buckinghamshire
Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Newport Pagnell, Wolverton, and the wider Bucks area. Often connected to our Milton Keynes work, where main contractors operate across the county.
Berkshire
Reading, Maidenhead, Windsor, Bracknell, and the wider M4 corridor. Most of this work connects to our Slough coverage and the Heathrow-adjacent commercial market.
Northamptonshire & Warwickshire
Towcester, Daventry, Kettering, Wellingborough, Coventry, Leamington Spa, Tamworth, and the surrounding villages. Connected to our Northampton and Birmingham work.
Nationwide for larger contracts
For substantial commercial contracts we travel further across the UK. The £40K Audi dealership in Ipswich is a good example: outside our day-to-day radius, but the scale of the job and the established relationship with the main contractor made it straightforward to deliver to the same standard.
