How we work across Birmingham
We’ve done countless tape and joint jobs across Birmingham since 1998. Flagship retail at the Bull Ring, drywall finishing across the NEC exhibition halls, shop and office fit-outs in the historic Jewellery Quarter, commercial work through Solihull and South Birmingham. Birmingham is our biggest market outside London.
Most of our Birmingham work is commercial. Main contractors hire us for retail fit-outs in the city centre, exhibition hall finishing at the NEC, office fit-outs around Solihull and the M42 corridor, and Birmingham Airport redevelopments. We also pick up private commercial work in Tamworth and across south Warwickshire on referral.
Travelling from Luton to Birmingham is a long day, so the work that crosses our desk here is usually larger commercial contracts where the scale justifies the journey. We send a full crew of up to six, get through large areas quickly, and keep main contractors on programme. Labour-only for most of it, supply and fix where the client prefers.
Birmingham deserves the same finish standard as a job in Mayfair. Same three coats. Same rigid bead. Same finish, regardless of postcode.

Flagship retail fit-outs at the Bull Ring shopping centre. City centre commercial fit-outs and shop work along Birmingham’s main retail streets. Most of this work happens around shop trading hours, so we programme accordingly.
Jewellery Quarter
Shop and office fit-outs across Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter. Smaller-scale commercial work in an area where the character of the buildings matters. Considered finishes, tight schedules, repeat clients.
Birmingham Airport
Airport redevelopment work including new and refurbished commercial spaces. Programmed around live airport operations where access is restricted and security clearance affects scheduling.
NEC (National Exhibition Centre)
Drywall finishing across the exhibition halls at the NEC. Large clean spans, fast programmes, work timed around exhibition schedules. The kind of site where speed and standard both matter, and getting either wrong holds up the build.
South Birmingham & Solihull
Office fit-outs and commercial work across South Birmingham and the Solihull business areas. M42 corridor projects. Mid-size programmes where main contractors need reliable trades to hit handover dates.
Tamworth & Warwickshire
Private commercial clients in Tamworth and across south Warwickshire. The kind of work that brings repeat business when the standard is right. Often referred to us by main contractors we’ve worked with elsewhere.

Commercial taping and jointing
Hotels, office fit-outs, retail, hospitality, car showrooms, warehouses. We programme to your schedule, work around the other trades on site, and hit deadlines. Most main contractors hire us labour-only.

Residential taping and jointing
Renovations, extensions, new builds, occupied homes. The Festool kit matters most here. People living in the property don’t end up with dust over their kitchen counters and skirtings when we leave.

Fermacell FST (Fine Surface Treatment)
Fermacell finished to Fine Surface Treatment standard, ready for paint or paper. A lot of jointers won’t touch Fermacell. The technique is different and the margin for error is smaller. We do it, and we do it properly. More on our Fermacell page.

Labour-only or supply and fix
Tell us what suits your build. Materials supplied through us, or yours on site. Most contractors prefer labour-only. Residential clients usually want the full package. Either’s fine, the standard doesn’t change.

Yes. Solihull and the M42 corridor are part of our regular Birmingham coverage. We’ve delivered office fit-outs across the area and send a full crew up from Luton for the larger commercial contracts.
How big is your Birmingham crew?
For Birmingham work we typically send four to six tapers and jointers, depending on the programme. A full crew can complete substantial areas quickly, which matters on commercial fit-outs where main contractors need to hit handover dates.
